Friends, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our President and mentor Howard Fry. Howard touch each of our lives in different ways and we appreciate everything he did for us. We will provide more information for members as soon as we have it. At the moment our plan is to have a memorial show for Howard at Airesman's in May.

Fry – Howard Wilson, 65, Elton, went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2026. Born on September 9, 1960, in Johnstown, son of Woodrow W. and Catherine E. (Betts) Fry. Preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Kathleen A.
He is survived by his loving son, Seth W., Elton; brothers-in-law, Robert “Bob” (Crystal) Beckner, Lititz, PA and Scott Beckner, Johnstown; aunt, Rose Eline; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, including, Eric Ritz and Luann.
Howard was a graduate of Richland High School and Johnstown Vo-Tech. He was owner and operator of W.W. Fry Trucking. He later was also owner and operator of Fry Ventures Inc. Howard was a President of Pyrotechnic Artists Inc.; served on the NFA Safety Team; current President of Elton Sportsmen’s Association, and member of the Adams Township Lions Club. He enjoyed traveling, fireworks, going to casinos, and his son’s hockey career. Howard loved his son more than anything and will be missed dearly.
At Howard’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests contributions be directed to Adams Township Lion’s Club, P.O. Box 163, Sidman, PA 15963 in memory of Howard.
